Meet OWAY Hbleach.
Hbleach is OWAY’s professional cream-butter lightener: an ammonia-free formula created for salon blonding. Its creamy texture is designed to mix and apply without the loose, dusty cloud of traditional powder lighteners, and its ammonia-free formula avoids ammonia fumes. The formula is enriched with Kukui Butter, biodynamic Lavender, organic Perilla, and fair-trade Date Oil—ingredients chosen to bring a more considered, botanical approach to a technical service.
Hbleach is still a lightener. It changes the hair’s natural or artificial pigment, and every lightening service asks something of the hair. “Ammonia-free” does not mean damage-free, risk-free, or suitable for every head of hair. My job is to choose the right service, placement, timing, and plan for the person in my chair.

Many conventional salon lighteners are powders, and some use ammonia. OWAY Hbleach offers a different format and approach: a smooth cream-butter lightener without ammonia or dusty powder. That can make the mixing and application experience more comfortable for the client and stylist, while giving me a workable consistency for precise placement.
The difference I care about most is how the whole appointment is approached. I look at your hair’s history, current condition, previous color, curl pattern, density, and the result you want. I build a custom plan rather than chasing the lightest possible blonde in one visit. We can create brightness with fine highlights, a face frame, dimensional foils, balayage, or a combination—while respecting what your hair can reasonably handle.
HIGHLIGHTS & BALAYAGE

For highlights, I can weave fine ribbons for a soft, blended lift, brighten around the face, or create more contrast with a carefully mapped foil placement. For balayage and hand-painted lightening, I place brightness where it will move naturally through your shape and grow out gracefully. Each service is finished with a tone chosen for your starting canvas—creamy, beige, golden, cool, or dimensional—so the blonde feels intentional and personal.
My salon uses OWAY exclusively for professional color and lightening. I pair Hbleach with OWAY’s color system and after-care choices, and tailor the finish to your hair goals. Your consultation is where we decide whether highlights, balayage, a gloss, lowlights, or a slower plan will serve you best.
A LITTLE SALON HUMOR
Blonde clients: sometimes in recovery.
I lovingly joke that many of my blonde clients are “in recovery”—because everybody wants to be blonde, even when nature made them brunette. Some clients come to me worried after earlier lightening services left their hair feeling dry, fragile, or more difficult to manage. I don’t need to blame a particular brand or stylist to take that concern seriously. We start with your hair as it is today and decide what it needs next.
Sometimes the healthiest-looking next step is a smaller highlight, a softer blend, a gloss, a few lowlights, a trim, or a break from lightening. I can recommend conditioning and home-care support to help improve the look and feel of the hair, but no product can reverse all damage or make bleach risk-free. If extensions are part of your longer-term plan, I’ll assess your hair and scalp first and discuss them only if they’re appropriate for your condition and goals.
